Crushing
I wrote him off early on. He was good-looking in a typical way, polite in an expected way, and I followed the paint-by-numbers to fill in the rest of his personality.
I didn’t even really notice him in our first encounter. And I mispronounced his name in our second. I don’t want to overblow the matter. After all, I don’t see him with enough consistency and our exchanges are always brief.
But lately, I have taken to observing him when he’s not looking.
And ladies: I like what I see.
